We all know that WordPress is one of the finest (if not the best) CMS available for business owners, bloggers, or just about anyone who wish to establish a good website. But we have to remember that nothing can satisfy each and every taste on the planet, and WordPress is no exception.
Now back to the question at hand. What are your problems with WordPress, or better yet, what improvements do you think can be done in order to further improve your experience with using WordPress?
Who knows? A way to relieve that pet peeves of yours might just be possible in the form of a plugin because there's this reality that not every feature that you and many other people deem worthy will be added in the main package. An example could be avatars—you have no choice but to use a gravatar-enabled email address otherwise there's a couple of plugins available for local avatars that you can use.
But yes, a plugin might just be able to fix some of your dilemma with the way WordPress works. I used to have a minor gripe when it comes to categories in post editors - despite having a parent category the child categories never go under the parent. The structure just doesn't look right for me and in my opinion the child items should be located under the parent category for easier navigation.
So what did I do? Of course, make do with a plugin that deals with the problem.
My only pet peeve right now might be the post editor. Yes, you heard that right - the post editor that all of us use when it comes to adding and editing blog articles. A very important part of the admin panel but unfortunately it has received much less attention than it deserves.
