What do you guys think about the search engine Bing? Everyone knows that Google is the most popular search engine at the moment, but Bing seems to be having a decent share on the search engines scene.

Do you use Bing? If so, how often, as compared to Google?

Actually never. Bing marketshare is very negligible when I look at my website analytics.

Yes I use Bing as the second best search engine. It helps to get about 5% of my website traffic.

We can' t deny that bing was the most powerful search engine, but today, google replace bing and people start using google for more traffic even I prefer google but that's not mean I will not prefer bing because it's still powerful.

I'm also using Bing now. Its a powerful search engine besides Google as I know.

I'm using Google most of the time. I don't even know what my ranking is like on bing

I don't use bing, but I do see it's bot searching often.
I use startpage mostly.

It's funny, Bing does get joked about a lot as being something to use when desperate, but I've heard that it's perhaps not as bad as it's made out to be. I'd still prefer Google for everything, although it says here that: "At the start of 2017, Bing’s UK market share was just a little over 8.5%. Bing models itself on Google visually, mimicking the successful model with additional search functions optimised for images, videos and news, as well as a maps service."

I mean, if you're going to mimick something, then Google is probably your best bet 😛 I can see more people moving to Bing one day, seeing as so many users are afraid of Google's data collecting, but then maybe Bing is just as bad.

by far that google is way ahead, I mean it's google is the winner and bing and yahoo are the once that are in battle

I am using other search engines once in a while just to check. But almost always, it is Google's list that is most beneficial. Maybe it's because I am used to seeing Google's search list although there are times that I find other search engine useful. Yesterday, I used Bing to search for the next UFC fight and I got good results.

At one time Bing was easier to rank than Google. This was after 2011 when it became incredibly difficult on Google.

That's because Microsoft integrates it into their browser and other parts of the OS. If bing didn't have that upper hand, it would be dead already.

I use bing webmaster tool for my website, Bing is great for reaching older demographics and home owners. A lot of people forget about Bing, but its the default search engine for some popular platforms.

I'm also using Bing WMT for my sites and I see that doing SEO on Bing is much easier than on Google.

I don't use Bing that much. Now days I use DuckDuckGo for most stuff - I sometimes use Google if I can't find something on DuckDuckGo but that's rare.

I see that DuckDuckGo is more and more popular nowadays. I sometimes use it as alternative to GG

Bing's results are worse than Yandex, I only use them to lookup my own site to see how it ranks on them. The only one which has worse results is Yahoo which are as good as garbage.

Duckduckgo does catch some pages which Google doesn't, sometimes useful to use in tandem with it.

I don't use BING that often if at all. I have it set as my secondary internet explorer browser to Google, and my third browser on Chrome. Right after Google and then Yahoo Search. It has a good visual appeal, but the results and depth of search returns needs work still.

Bing turns up pretty good image results but it's pretty slow to index my site compared to google.
