I think it looks good... and they added alot more features so its not just a forum its a CMS, forks usually dont last but this seems to be doing good. Most forks just copy the whole thing, and dont change anything.. but this one is different.

If you dont know what fork means, it means when someone takes a certain type of software that is open source and modifies it, and adds more features to it and basically comes out with a whole new software. You can only make a fork if the software is open source. Open source means, you are free to modify the software, and change things around, and redistribute it as your own long as you include the credits.

If I were to even consider to use phpBB which I never would.. I would rather use Icy Phoenix.

That actually doesn't look half bad. I've seen better but I've also seen worse. This actually looks neat really.

I've tried them and I never liked them. They use PhpBB2. =/

Never tried them. Came to know about it yesterday from AdminBB.

I guess it looks good to some extent. I was not a fan of phpBB, so this one doesn't attract me much.

Indeed.

When I was on phpbb I used a couple skins from them. They seem to do good work.

That default theme looks terrible.

I think so too. It looks to busy for me. Anyway, I'm using one of their theme for my dark style - the owner also makes phpBB3 themes (Black Pearl) which I'm in the process of replacing. I think Mighty Gorgon is talented but I don't like the phpBB Fork style.

It's alright but you could achieve that with a MOD or a site integration method, also it didn't actually seem that great really.

Not something I would use, prefer to use the standard phpBB and then add the bits I want.
