When a daily post exchange doesn't go as expected

When you do a daily post exchange with a fellow forum owner and let's say you agree to logging in daily for 2 weeks and do 2 posts or threads a day, but the other person doesn't log in daily and still gives you the same amount of posts in the end. Are you okay with that?
 
I'm fine as long as the other user is able to PM stating that he's been busy or things happening that he will catch up via another day 🙂 End of the day I can be busy and unable to log on that day. Worse when they do not log on and week after they said nothing
 
People have lives outside the online space. I have to give them the benefit of doubt. Unexpected things happen in life that could make the person unable to post for that day. You need to give room for all these.
 
I have never done daily exchanges because I cannot commit to daily logging and posting. When I do exchanges I always do with a fixed number of posts.
 
I usually just give them the benefit of the doubt, life gets busy sometimes and there may be some days that are slower than others.
 
I've done exchanges but not daily ones as I too cannot commit to posting daily on non-Staff forums. If at the end, they complete the required amount, I feel it's all good & will PM them asking if they'd like to do a different kind of exchange.
 
I've been asked a few times about daily exchanges and I decline in case they can't keep up with it or I can't.

I would rather just do a one off that I know both myself and the other party can stick to.

I actually wouldn't mind that. As long as it comes out to the same amount of posts in the end, I wouldn't care at all.
