What types of solutions do you come up with when new members say that they have difficulty in navigating your forum?

I would ask them to explain their difficulties they had with it and gather their input on it. I would also probably ask a friend to also try navigating it and get several sets of eyes from new perspectives to figure out if it is something easy we can change such as a layout or organization change to see if it fixes the issue. When you own the website you get so used to it that you may not understand why it is confusing to someone else so getting fresh eyes on it with no experience with the layout would help to gather helpful and honest feedback.

I say,

But never had anyone came and for lost or had anyone said about navigation the forum. Yet what if the staff gets lost ;p

I had some members come off of Social Media & were intimidated by how different a forum is compared to what they were used to. I created a thread of "How to navigation this forum guide". The key is to actually ASK your members what can you do better. If they have any suggestions. A forum is only as good as its members.

Hello,
I just want to say that whenever new members join the forum, a member faces problems in the navigation of the site. sometimes get confused with the site navigation topics. So it would be very helpful if the user got some instruction from the admin.
Thanks
I think that is why it is extremely important to have welcome PM's sent out automatically to new users as that PM can be used to help give them some helpful details on how to navigate the site.

I agree! I have a Welcome PM as well as have an Intro directing them to the Rules. The How to navigate... is on all Boards.

Who does read PMs though, I have a welcoming PMS setup and disable people not reading them.

This.

You can also ask for a review of your forum from a site that does offer reviews. Either way, being able to accept constructive criticism is the key, either from the members of your community or from someone doing the review.
