When was the last time you sold any electronics?

I find that I basically have to give away computers they tend to not hold their value. I heard that this is less of a problem with apple products.

I plan on selling my PS3 soon, we shall see how that goes.

I usually get higher dollar for apple products as well, last thing I sold was a printer 🙂

I sold an old 8GB iPhone 4 on eBay a month or two ago. It did well. It sold within the week I listed it and I made more than I expected for a few-generations old product.

I don't think I will sell my PS3 on eBay or Amazon. I don't want to worry about shipping and all that. I will try to sell it locally.

I once sold an iPod Shuffle for around £20, it was pretty much brand new. I think it was a very old gen though, probably the first or second. I didn't really have any use for it. It's a nice little music device. 😛

I think that's a really good deal actually. I like to scroll through Craigslist's electronics section to compare rates and I see people still trying to get around $40 for old ipods. I admit Apple products retain their value better than other brands but some people try to get more than what they're worth - I suppose some are leaving haggle room.

What are the specs of your desktop? ...and are you offering cash along with it? I know some people tend to offer that as well when the deal isn't as good by a straight barter transaction.
