When watching TV do you have the light on or off?

My husband jokes I need the ‘sun’ on lol I need the lights on to watch. It’s not just a little lamp either, it’s the overhead lights. He prefers lights off. For those who like some light, what do you use?

100% of the time I have a light off with a small light on in another room or just something that glows into the room.

I like it dark anyway as I'm watching a film 🙂

It depends. If the lights in the house are casting too much glare on the tv, then I'll turn them off so I can see the tv better. Otherwise, I'll have them on.

Everything lights off. I watch movies, tv, anime, and play games with the lights off. That plus if it is raining outside is the best time of day for me.

If you are on your PC yeah, need to have lights on or a small amount of lights, but you can't go to the cinemas and ask them to have lights on while watching a film.

A Cinema hall and a home cinema are quite different in my opinion. We cannot compare the lighting conditions.

It is my personal preference to have enough light for sake of my eyes 🙂

I keep a lamp on off to the side of the room. I can't stand watching in a completely dark room but I don't want a glare on the screen, either. So, indirect warm light is perfect.

Personally I cannot enjoy the movie when the light is off, yes.. I don't just know the reason but I am very much comfortable when the light is on, that really make the movie to be enjoyable and also help to see my surrounding.
