When you cough in public, does anyone ever ask if you have covid?

I did once and an old lady assumed I had long covid and she went on saying how it's hard to get over it lol

My sister does as a joke, which I hate, but mostly no. I cover my mouth and turn away if I'm near people anyway, so minimal risk

Nope. I don't think many people where I live are getting covid anymore, at least I never hear about it. I still haven't had it yet, although I'm sure someday that both my husband and I will finally catch it. We're not worried.

They always give me a look! I've had asthma for over a month so I'm used to it.

I’ve been asked if I have COVID by friends/family/co-workers many times after I’ve coughed. It’s the new go-to joke in our world. 😛

'rona!

I cover my mouth the proper way obviously when I cough or even sneeze. Sneezing is sometimes hard to catch though.

The way I learned in like..4th grade. I totally never was taught the "proper" way till then.

Most people just keep on doing there own thing, Most people are sick of it and went to move on there lives and I coughed many times and never been asked or looked at

It's not too often I cough in public but when I do, sometimes I do get a look but I do not get asked if I have COVID.

There have been times when I have ended up with a tickly throat and had no drink at the time and coughing was impossible to not do, that was super frustrating, and again it got me looks and in some cases, worrying looks.
