Where can you make your own forum banners for free forums?

I have a freeforums site, and they've told me that I need a new skin and a new banner. Where could I make my own banner? I've installed some skins so I'm going to puruse the collection i've got.

You need to either make it with a photo making software like photoshop or gimp. Gimp is free.

Or, you could simply request a banner with the height and width you need.

if you type up this on Google 'Create a Free Banner' it will come up list's of pages. I think your better sticking with www.cooltext.com for a starter then perhaps pop down to Non-Promotion and request a banner for your forum.

If you want to try to use something like photoshop you could try using sumopaint.com to make a banner.
