Where do u put forum icons

I am in cpanel and want to put a icon for a forum on phpbb3
where do i upload it and give a expample of what do put .
As i dont1 know if iput a url of directory in it

I haven't tried this but upload them anywhere in the phpBB directory or create a new folder in the phpBB directory folder.

If the images you uploaded is called test.gif and you uploaded to a new folder in the phpbb root called random you need to enter random/test.gif and so on in the acp.

If i were to upload images to the root of the phpbb directory here i would just enter the name of the image. Whatever directory your forum is and whatever it is called is irrelevant and you don't need to enter the name of the directory that the phpBB files are in.

The easiest way to do this is to upload your forum icons to the "images" folder in the phpBB root directory (same place as config.php and viewtopic.php etc..)

Then in the Admin Panel in the "forum image" text box type: "images/forum-icon.png" or whatever you have called your rank image. Additionally some people like to make a folder for the forum icons inside the images folder, so it could be for example: "images/forum-icons/announcements.png".
