There's been a war on so-called "fake news" in the US since the election season ended, which has discredited certain news sites. A lot of people have been changing where they get their news, and I'm wondering: where do you get your news? For me, I normally read Drudge Report, FOX News, and Newsmax the majority of the time. I do scroll other websites if I'm looking for opinions, and I read opinions from multiple viewpoints.
Anywhere really. I don't actively read news but I'll click on something if it peaks my interest. I tend to view a couple of sources though to see the difference if I want to fact check, but normally I just read, shrug and move on.
Reddit, InfoWars, Drudge Report. FOX News is alright, but bias towards Republicans only like how CNN and others are bias towards Liberals and Democrats. Bias news is never good for anyone.
I typically get my news through YouTube commentators, Twitter, Facebook, TV to some extent. I watch Fox a decent amount. Used to trust CNN quite a bit until the last election. But I mostly just like Tucker Carlson, The Five, etc. Not a Bill O'Reilly fan, really. I'm pretty conservative (by the standard of today's political climate), but still liked CNN until very recently, like I said. I try to watch MSNBC from time to time, just to see what they have to say, but I usually disagree pretty quickly. 😛
I mostly get them from Norway's NRK, which are great at presenting a good selection of news in an un-biased way. I also check into Al Jazeera from time to time.
It's great for seeing the contrast in how the two American spheres of thought cover an issue. And sometimes the spooky "other side" makes some great points. I lean left, but I look forward to reading articles from reason.com and nationalreview.com.
