When I was reading the " Post Your Workstation " topic in computers board ( viewtopic.php?f=70&t=20267) I noticed a lot of members here have their desks all pushed up to the wall.. I personally can't stand that... here is a photo of my desk setup: http://www.imagger.com/uploads/788790_desk.jpg

( Note: My desk faces into the rest of the room, the computer part is against the wall )

Do you prefer your desk facing the wall or facing into the room?

I just like to be closed in for some reason 😛

I like my desk up against a wall. If I had an office room, I'd definitely have the desk facing towards the door.

I leave my desk against the wall with a window. It faces the wall, it is easy for me to get to in my room, any other position and would be harder.

I've always had my desk positioned at the corner of my room. Although when I had my very old Win98 computer, it's desk was positioned at the wall where it was right next to my bedroom door.

I have mine up against the wall - with a window to the left.

I see you would have no problem working in a cubicle for a company haha.

My opinion is this:

I have OCD so I need things structured in a certain way. Just like a good layout on a website, I could not stand having my desk in the middle of a room. It needs to be against a wall in a corner. If it's in the middle of the wall I will literally freak out.

My desk is in the living room, its not up against the wall.. Only the right side of the desk is touching the wall, not the back of it. In front of my desk is a loveseat chair that nobody ever sits in.

Hehe, I just can't stand being pushed up against the wall. I love being closed in for some reason, it's weird 😛
