I always hear about this question every day. As we all know, the world is fast-changing, and technology is getting more popular than ever. We are increasing our dependence on technology, and with that dependence comes more demand for jobs that make use of that technology. I have heard experts or people in the field that graphic design is the primary way to be marketable in the art world now, and I think I agree with that to an extent. Graphic design can be more efficient and faster than physical, non-digital work depending on what the client is asking. Customers who get their work sooner are more satisfied and are more likely to tell their friends and pay more in the future, which will lead to higher wages for the company and its employees. This cycle is necessary for the very base of the economy. I have also heard people with more pessimistic views say that the field is going downhill or that unemployment is too high and no one can get a job. Considering these two conflicting views, what do you think about the state of this field in general?
