I also use edge, only use it for running in the background like music or YouTube when gaming since edge doesn't eat like chrome does

I use Opera, and have been using it since around 2013 when it switched to the WebKit engine. It's Chrome without all the Google nastiness.

But as a web developer, I use them all.

I am also a web engineer, but I do not use InternetExplorer and Edge at all. The reason is that it can not be installed on Linux.

To be honest, working with Edge is no different than working with Chrome, Opera or Firefox, most of the time. It's actually quite pleasant to work with.

Edge is annoying because it's closely tied to Windows 10's update cycle and the thing isn't available in 7. Every-time there's a major update in Windows, there's also one in Edge, but you need the Windows update for the Edge update.

Beyond that, it's about as annoying as Firefox and Chrome, but probably only because I don't use it for anything other than testing things.

The fun bit is with some types of borders where one browser needs it to be set to 1px, another needs 1.5px, and the other needs 2px to produce a border with the same thickness in all three.

That's nothing compared to the IE6 days however.

That's a far cry from the IE6 days however.

I have to say, I haven't run into that problem you're describing.

Inset borders and some other odd things.
Shades of colour also aren't that consistent on them, if I recall.

I very rarely use pixel units these days. Do you get the same results with ems? That also gets around the issue of 'disappearing' borders on mobile due to the high pixel density.

Right now I only use safari because I don’t have a computer at the moment.

I'm not sure I like variable units, as they're less predictable, but I'll give it a try and see what happens. It's just one older theme anyway with the inset borders.

As long as you define the font size to be 16 pixels (or whatever font size you use) for the body selector, and then use 16 for calculating em figures (e.g. 1 px = 0.0625 em), you're good.

Used to use Safari/Chrome when i had a Mac.

Now it's more so just Opera/Chrome.

I use Google Chrome, It's very easy to use and fast.

Firefox 'cause its super fast now and Mozilla stands up for your internet rights whereas Google tracks a lot of your information. Although they say they don't sell it like Facebook, it still seems a bit fishy to me.

Sup Colin? It's been a very long time.
