I use Google Chrome because it's what I'm used to, no other reason. However, to access cPanel for my forums I have to use Firefox cause Chrome won't work in that instance.
I use Chrome as well. Its pretty interesting that this thread was created before Chrome was popular, considering it is now one of the top browsers. This thread is from 2008 and that is the same year Chrome was first released!
Lately I've been using Mozilla Firefox. I recently learned that they are non-profit company which is pretty I think because this means that they are not really interested in making money for shareholders or a few individuals making money for themselves therefore, their focus is providing a reliable service exclusively to benefit users a concept I certainly don't mind supporting. On a different note, it's also been reliable as far as compatibility goes in programs that I am required to access for school/work. Google Chrome has been historically reliable/lightweight however nowadays I am finding myself using Firefox more.
You can backup your save passwords and bookmarks. You can even transfer them in other computers/laptop that has firefox installed. You can even transfer all the plugins you installed in your computer 1 to computers 2.
So if ever you upgrade or reformat your pc/laptop. You can restore all the tweaks/data/plugins of your mozilla firefox to your newly installed system.
