Which business is good?

Hi friends,
One of my friends, have to option to join a construction company of his brother or to start a real estate agency. I suggest him to join his brother's construction company, because there is less chances of risk in this field even now a days real estate is more profitable business. What do you think?

Actually depending on where one lives, either can be rather profitable if you know what you are doing. Real Estate is easier to keep afloat in larger communities, than in smaller ones, where there might be 4-5 of them already established.

You are not really providing us enough information to answer the question and this depends. How much capital does your friend have? What skills and connections has he got? Is your friend willing to take risk or does he like playing safe? Joining his brother's construction company is definitely the safer option but more risk means, higher return so there is always a tradeoff.

No doubt higher risk means higher return, but for a middle class businessman. But, I prefer a safe side in starting.

I hear rebuilding a person's credit score is the best option and you don't even need an education for that. People will pay handsomely.

Either of these could be successful. The most important thing though is that your friend pursue what interests him. Money is important, but if the job isn't something that interests you, it's not really worth doing. Otherwise, everyone would just become lawyers. 😛
