Yes. You guessed it. It is time to buy a new computer. But this is going to be mostly for school. But I need it to be fast and reliable. Which one should I buy?
I'd have to say the HP Pavilion too. It's a good price for 4GB of RAM and 320GB of memory. I doubt you'll be even using half of that disk space. Also, please be sure to buy a warranty. HP computers were only made to last a year.
I do not know where you get your information, but that is false. I have had my hp laptop for over 2 years now and have had no problems accept for a dead battery(Which was my fault).
I have also had my hp desktop for well over 4 years without issues.
I pick HP since it is the only company of computer I used which is on the Poll. I think if you are very rough with your laptop like hit it, throw it, or smashes the keys on the keyboard a lot then a PC won't last very long, and if your PC is in a very dusty environment and your PC is on all day long it would break faster.
Easily Toshiba. I'm on my 15.6 inch, 2 GB, 250 GB computer with a faster processor than yours. It has last me what now, 4, working on 5 years now? Laptops were made to run perfectly for 1 year, and work for 2-3 years. My support has never charged me per call, and provide great support. Only problem is they are sometimes hard to understand.
13.4 for a school laptop? Way to small. I couldn't imagine losing an inch on both size, both for the sake of my keyboard, and for the sake of viewing documents and web pages.
Otherwise, it is a matter of favorite brand. I'd say Toshiba after terrible support from HP. Of course, it looks to me like some peopel see the opposite.
