which do you like better, snitz or not?

as far as looks go, there are basically only 2 kinds of forums. snitz, or not snitz.

the others, like vBulletin, phpbb, SMF, MyBB, punBB, etc. have their differences among themselves, but look so much the same when compared to the square, simple, no-frills pages generated by the archaic, ASP-based snitz.

I'm not talking about how they are different to administer, add mods and styles to, whatever else you can do with them. we all know those are easier to work with and you can do way more with them than snitz, where everything must be hard-coded into each page a mod applies to and the administrator has about as many options as your average free e-mail account.

which looks better to you as a user?

I ask the question because I still like the looks of snitz better. a lot of other people don't. just curious what the ratio is.

Never heard of "snitz" I had a look at that url you provided and the software seems pretty primitive and unappealing. So I voted "the others"

tbh, the snitz forum looks like a modified version of a proboards forum...
could be wrong though since i've never heard of snitz until now 😛
but i'd say i like the "others" better because they seem more customizable

This will forever be a subjective decision, based on personal experience. On the basis of design, the Snitz forum seems pre-2005, and something the old PhpBB2 or PunBB had which are quite old.
