I voted for .net Because in my opinion it looks better, sounds better and is easier to remember.

I say .net as .org is looked upon as being not as popular with some people and .net better suits a forum in my opinion.

Well after talking among all my staff (somewhat >_>) I decided the .org, and its been bought. I plan to buy the others as soon as I can, but ill still use the .org the most, simply because it sounds the best, looks the best, and stands for the best to suit my site.

.net (as with this forum) are always second best. If the .com is taken, you buy the .net, thats just how it is. It takes a real weirdo to buy the .org, simply because its less common and stands out. My goal with my site is simple:

Make it stand out as much as possible.

Using odd methods seems to work the best, sets us apart from the norm, which people like. My forum is one of a kind, so everything about it must stay that way, the .org just adds to the weird -😉-

Heres my thinking though, .org community's that have "bad" conent seem to do great, where .net's still dont.

Example sites;
ThePirateBay.org - Largest Bittorrent site in the world
4chan.org - Worlds largest imageboard
Failblog.org - Just a cool .org really
Suprbay.org 65,000 members, 6,000 active

I cant really find too many .net examples for this kind of content.

The .org domain fits my sites content better. You buy all the domains to keep other sites from opening with the same name as you. I could buy the .com and redirect it to the .org to help keep guests on track and such.

Besides, like I said, .net is always SECOND best. .org is rarely used, its different, which is what my site is -🙂-

Yah I would go with spirits idea, Not only there are more votes for .net, it looks better, and .net from what I know is more popular than .org, But honestly thats just me I have no idea XD
