Hi,

Which forum software do you prefer?

I have always used vB.

Cheers!

IPB was my favorite back in the old days, however with the new versions looking more like social networking platforms, I prefer phpBB. Overall it has the most users of any software, it is the most adaptable, has the most community backing for troubleshooting issues you may have, and allows you to get "up close and personal" with the code as you install MODs and features ~wink~

Couldn't ask for more really, i'd take phpBB over vB or IPB (or SMF or MyBB) any day of the week.

Have to say smf is my #1 favorite forum software. I use it all the time.

I don't know.
My first was zetaboard then i upgraded to vbulletin.
So far i'm pretty happy with vb.

Invision Power Board (the license versions), closely followed by vBulletin and SMF.

I prefer phpBB over any other forum software. phpBB is free to use, have lot of useful mods, and have great support.

Honestly anything with lots of mods is fine with me.

I mean if I got mods then I am happy lol.

I guess if I had to choose it would be phpbb3.

When ZB wasn't released, I loved IF, it was so easy to use and stuff. But now that ZB is out, I love ZB more. It's more advanced but ofcourse I had to learn to work with the Admin CP and stuff like that but I'm familiar with it now and it's just much more professional imo.

Never been a fan of something else. Maybe Jcink but that's just a software that I'd use if ZB wasn't around.

I like phpbb2 but have upgraded to phpbb3 on our own server so we can add any hack. But I don't like VB, have always prefered Phpbb.

IPB, SMF, and MyBB are all pretty good. ForuMotion is a pretty nice free forum host.
