I've worked on many forums as a freelancer/admin, but only used phpBB and vbulletin 4 for my site.

I find it too simple and very useful and flexible.

i've used proboards, zetaboards, forumotion, and freeforums.

then i turned 18 and tried out vbulletin but i didn't like their system so i am using mybb atm and i love it :lol:

Recently, I've tried out myBB, and was a bit surprised by its features, and interface from the ACP view.

In the past I've used: Proboards, Invision Free, MyBB. Currently, I stick exclusively to SMF.

2002 precisely. That was when I started going to forums. I got the mod position in just 3 weeks because of my brand. 8 years later, I'm running my own sites.

MyBB- it's the best one out there, I've tried ProBoards, vBulletin, etc., but none compare to MyBB.

I have used phpBB and MyBB. I guess I also had a forumotion forum(someone game it to me) but its converted into a phpbb one

proboards is the best, you can customize way easier than other forum

Also I've pretty much only used ZB, tried others by just browsing the ACP, though.

Zetaboards, Forumer, Invisionfree, Jcink, Ezboard (now Yuku), MyBB, SMF.

Of them, my favourites were MyBB and Zetaboards.

Of them, my least favourite was Ezboard (which somehow got worse with Yuku).
