Which hosting do you prefer? I'm making a new forum using SMF... I need a good web hosting that's FREE! Any suggestions? No www.ulmb.com/ I will not give my personal information....

I use them and as far as free hosts go they are fast and reliable and offer cpanel.

Just a tip, at www.dot.tk you can get a free domain.

For example: my forum is hosted by my own server(localhost) with a dynamic dns,
http://fail.game-host.org/forum/index.php. thats quite a long url.. with dot.tk i renamed it to:
www.fail-forums.tk. This works with any free website host.

I wouldn't recommend not using free cloaking domains like .tk as it can cause log in issues and problems keeping users logged in.

Well another free host that is good to use would be http://freehostia.com

I use them for my smf test board.

I personally steer away from .tk sites just because they usually lead to porn, spam, or hacker sites.

I like Angelfire as a free webhost, but that's just me.
