Which Internet Browser are you using?

I've just switched back to Firefox. Edge, since it's running on it's own Engine(And not the soon to be, Chromium Engine), just feels slow.

Firefox is my main Browser of choice. I do have Chrome as a Browser for certain things like GitHub, Web-Development and Google-Specific Services. Of course, I also use Chrome on Android.

I am currently using Chrome, although I normally use Firefox.

I've been using Chrome since 2010 or 2011. It's a good browser, but I've been thinking about checking out Brave.

I personally use TAILS for OSINT and other security related work. Firefox for general browsing.

Recently checked out Brave Browser. It's not bad. It's just that they stopped offering the reward funds.

I've just started using the Waterfox Browser and I actually quite like it. I like it mainly due to the Style of the Tabs and how there's no Telemetry in it.

I use Chrome.

The hell is it with everyone and Chrome? It's an over-rated Browser that helps Google slowly take over the Web and it's standards.

What's wrong with Googles standards? They've been doing strides with the V8 engine and the Chromium project along with all of their other stuff, sounds like someone thinks they're being watched...

To be fair, they are watching, but most of us accept this in return for a good product.

Side note: the W3C defines web standards, not Google, or Microsoft, or Apple. Google might introduce new things through Chrome, but ultimately the W3C decides what gets added to the spec.

It's probably the fact that a lot of Google's stuff is proprietary and, the fact that their "Open-Source Browser", Chromium, is taking over the Browser Market. So Google is pretty much asserting their dominance on the Web. And it's meant to be open and not controlled by big Companies like Google.

This is true. The W3C Consortium deals with all of the Standards, what gets added/removed etc. Companies like Google or Microsoft have no control over it whatsoever.

That's probably because you are being watched. But as @Elli said, we have to accept this just for a Product. I've had to give up some Personal-Details for things like Android, GMail, Forums like FP and GitHub. Although, I do want to try and move away from things like GMail and Android. And Google and Microsoft aren't the only big Data-Collectors. Apple, Amazon and Facebook(obviously) are just a few more of the biggest Data-Collecting Companies out there. Everything you do in your everyday life is bound to be Tracked, Recorded and Stored somewhere.

So you're telling me that Google really cares what he's doing on the internet? Hmm alright...

Do they care in the sense that they're judging him because he watched sing-a-longs from Frozen on YouTube? No. Do they care in the sense that he recently looked at an Elsa doll on Amazon, or Googled "Disney Frozen Games & Activities", or researched a trip to Disneyland...? Absolutely. This is data that Google can monetize through ads; they definitely care.

I'm sure I remember a post where you mention being a developer of some kind, so I would expect that you're aware of Google's interest in user data. Are you being sarcastic, maybe? If so, it's not translating well.

FireFox, always.
Same. I <3 Firefox.

As I said in earlier Posts, Chrome is an over-rated Browser that is dominating the Web and is stopping the Web from being open. In fact, Google doesn't play nice with other Browsers such as IE or Firefox/Gecko-Based Web-Browsers. Try to scan the Google Messages QR Code on Firefox, turns out the QR Code just keeps on flickering and so it makes it impossible to use Messages on the Web. Even then, I still don't use Chrome.

I commonly use Chrome, but as a person who has 64 bit computer I hear that Chrome isn't well supported towards that but instead 32 bit. WHat browser should I be using?

Chrome is perfectly suited for 64-bit.
