I have tried a few apps and programs but ultimately always come back to google slides. It's pretty easy to use and I think that I have figured out mostly everything to do with the application. How about you?

I am shocked how everyone in this forum talks so technical, half of the things I don't even understand.

Feel free to ask, we are all here to help each other out 🙂

How about you
I've only every really mastered two graphics orientated programs. The first one started life running on RISC based computers but I can't for the life of me remember the name. The other is Photoshop which I've used since the days of the Macintosh II which combined with Aldus PageMaker and Apple's LaserWriter was a real revolution in its day.

I used to use Photoshop only but then i found affinity it's much better in terms of money, it's not a subscription based app.

Lol I'm not at all that technical but I have been trying to better my skills for the past few years. Trust me, if I can do it then so can you 😊

If I'm being honest this is the first time I have heard of any of these programs and software 😅

I tried to access affinity once but my financial situation didn't allow me. It seems like a good program but I can't say for sure since I've not been able to dabble in it

it's amazing honestly it basically has everything photoshop has. some things are missing but it makes up for it with other tools. The biggest thing for me is you can save your styles separately and can add them whenever however and edit them the last time i used ps they didn't have that not sure if they do now.

I use Corel Draw and Corel PhotoPaint but that's because it's what I was trained on. I used PageMaker for a while to make brochures, booklets, pamphlets, etc...but it got outdated and I couldn't afford to upgrade and then it was discontinued by Adobe in 2004.

I've used Google Slides to make a Recipe book for my family and gave them permissions to add comments to the recipes so the rest of the family can see what those recipes meant to them. I found the program to be somewhat limiting in things I could do.

Illustrator and Photoshop for graphics, InDesign whenever I want to create larger page-based projects (which doesn't happen that often)

I just use Gimp whenever I make images. It's free, and has plenty of the tools I use when working on graphics. I'll admit I'm not the best artist, but I try my best at least. xD

I started out using GIMP a million years ago, but I eventually moved on to using a number of different programs within Adobe CS5, like PhotoShop for example.

It’s been years since I’ve used any of these though. I’ll use a random free image editor on the web instead, as I’m never doing anything extensive.

I use Figma for almost everything.. even to create presentations and documents. I love it.

For those that’d like to give it a try, Figma is free!
