Which sites do you often visit aside from social media/news?

Do you have any favorite sites when surfing the net aside from the more popular ones?
I personally visit sites such as Duolingo (to learn new languages) and TED talks. Can you recommend other sites?

Aside from social media networks and email, I regularly go to the websites of the 3 major newspapers here. That's how I read the news now, saving money from buying the printed newspaper. And I also visit forumcoin, a site where I check on ways to earn money online. Most of the posts there are about websites that pay writers. What's nice in Forumcoin is that you get to earn a few cents when you post.
