Forgot to mention: big on YT and Skype. Skype is basically how I communicate with a lot of people that I know very well, and YouTube has mostly replaced TV in my life. Got onto snapchat recently, too.

Yeah, forgot about YT. It has pretty much replaced TV for me as well. Especially since I have no TV where I live...

Yeah me too. The Walking Dead and the latest HIMYM reruns are pretty much the only shows I watch anymore. I even watch Football (the real one 😛) on my computer 😀

Does anyone here use Discord? I just started using it the other day and it is so much better than Skype. There are so many features and it's made for gamers. I recommend it to everyone.

I have had people pester me to get it from an MC server that recently closed...I may have to cave in, but I am too reliant on Skype... What are some good features for it?

- Great text chat (post videos, gifs, files, whatever you want directly in your text chat).
- Great sound quality
- It is able to run in the browser (you don't need to download anything to try it out!) You can invite people to your voice channel that don't already have Discord and they don't need to download it or register to join!
- IT'S FREE!!!

They all have their purpose. Facebook is for talking to friends, Twitter is for shouting things into the ether. YouTube is for videos, etc. I like Twitter the most myself.

Some people are surprised that I only have Facebook for my social media indulgence. Since I am with the IT department in the office, they may be expecting me to be a wizard with the internet. My Facebook account is mainly for connecting with my circle of relatives and friends particularly those who are residing abroad or in the provinces. I open my Facebook account once a day just to check on the posts that needed my reply and I also try to post every day so my circle will be updated about my activities. With other social media sites like Twitter and Instagram, I'm not really interested.
