I seem to get a lot of suspected porn bots trying to make their way in, although they fail every-time lol

Registration attempt logs (yes, I should probably make it look nicer lol)

I haven't heard of those bots, glad that I haven't came across them.

I'm getting a lot of random user registrations on my site which I'm certain are not bots. They have such random emails as well that I'm sure aren't real.

EDIT: And I've just looked and realised why. I have a popup registration form with captcha. But the Wordpress registration page which spambots use does not. Silly me 🙄

One reason I suspect it's porn bots is because I administrated a vB forum back in around '09/'10 and my predecessor administrators were talking about how a bunch of bots came by and just blasted pornographic images everywhere. The email domains are extremely suspicious here.

And you may have gotten them, but they're probably getting logged in a place you never look at (probably your server log), while I log all the registration attempts out of curiosity and to see how effective my defences are.

One time, my old forum was suddenly hit by spambots that all had usernames relating to concert tickets of certain bands/artists. Thankfully, I had admin approval on but just them appearing was a right nuisance for me. The root cause of it was that damned .ml domain name I had for it then

So far, I haven't really seeed to get any. Although my website and forum aren't really high traffic at all right now (lack of content, etc), I'm hoping in the soon future to see if what I had configured can keep them out
