Which theme should be default?

I will vote for your current theme. The other one you proposed has blue in it, and while blue is good it has been used too much. This is me but I don't think you need to switch to another theme, instead make it as second choice for members or so. With the current theme you just need to improve icons or tweak it a bit more to make it different or so.
 
It has an in built colour changer and I could find a way to make the default colour green or red 🙂
 
I like the second one more. It looks like a pretty nice base to edit off of as well, if you want to dabble in the templates and CSS.

I actually like the layout of the current one better, the other option you provided has standard layout in my opinion. So I will stick to my vote. XD
 
I like the current theme the best. It just has something to do with that shade of green and the black.
 
I think the green one that is currently the default is the best to be the default!
It's very nice and elegant; plus there aren't many forums that have green as their default theme.. it's always something with blue, black or white.

You should create a unique one. it's a forum for admins, if it's not an original one, it will look pretty tacky. So maybe it's time to get those creative juices flowing and create a nice theme for the site, that no other forum is using 😉
