A WHMCS exploit has been found in the latest version 5.28. As there has been no patch made yet, the suggested course of action is to put the WHMCS installation into maintenance mode. If your host hasn't done this, I would suggest you contact them. Taking preventative measures to protect existing client data should always be top priority so I am sure your host will be responsive.
