Who can play the bass guitar?

Many people think it's easy and for the lazy, but that's not always true. In fact, it can be very complex as we see in a lot of jazz (maybe all of it) and a lot of rock.

Anyhow, the bass guitar started out as this huge thing, even bigger than a tuba maybe - and then later it became more popular as a smaller instrument, the same size as a guitar.

I come from a musical family and the bass guitar is one of the first instruments I picked up. I can play it but I much prefer an acoustic or acoustic electric guitar.

I can play some bluegrass bass on the dog-house (huge bass) and I could probably pick up on some simple and semi-advanced bass pretty easy on other styles. Basically, it's all arpeggios, which are broken chords.
