I'm typing this on my Chromebook now actually. I love Chromebooks, they are the best for just browsing the web and not trying to worry when/if your battery is going to die. My battery life is 2 days. 😛 1 day if I use it continuously throughout the day.

Don't get me wrong, computers with Windows/Mac are awesome as well, but for simple browsing the Chromebook is amazing. Anyone else have one?

I almost got one last fall (before I got a macbook instead) and I don't regret skipping on it. I do more than just online browsing, which you don't always realize, and a chromebook would be limiting for me. Now back in high school, I could see a chromebook being perfect for my needs at the time.

I been using an Acer C720 Chromebook for 2+ years, and it works pretty well. There are now more offline apps/programs and games for Chrome in the app store.

I don't have a ChromeBook.. I have heard some bad things about it and I don't like the fact that you can only use chrome on it. 😛

I don't use a Chromebook. I tried one out at Best Buy before and it's much too limited for what I do on the computer/internet.

I always find myself checking them out whenever I'm at Best Buy. A few times I had to pull myself away from the temptation of buying one just to have one. 🙂 I'm playing with the idea of getting my mom one but I haven't decided yet.

I never tried the Chromebook but it doesn't seem as powerful as other laptops to me.

There are now Chromebooks with Intel Core i3, i5-5200U, and i7 CPUs, and up to 8GB RAM like in the Google Chromebook Pixel 2, so Chromebooks performance can be similar in speed/performance to other Intel based laptops with a similar CPU, and RAM amounts.

Ah, I see. Are there Chromebooks with larger screens? I seen some that are around 13 inches but I am looking for 15 inch laptops.

There is the Acer Chromebook 15 with a 15.6" inch screen, Intel Core i3 CPU, 4GB RAM, and 32GB SSD @ http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Chromebook-C ... omebook+15
