Who has an older computer?

How well does it run? Do you have programs to tune it up or do you tune up some other way? Do you tune up at all? How old is it? Do you have anti-malware or anti-virus programs? Does it make a real difference?

OH yeah! Mine is a lot older than that. I am very picky about the programs I put on my computer and hate when my husband uses it because something will magically appear that he wants to test for work. And then he doesn't delete it. grr.

My computer runs fast enough for my liking and I'm currently using Microsoft Defender.

Sometimes I got through and delete old files I no longer want, but I don't do much of anything else for maintenance except to run Malwarebytes on occasion just because.

I used PCs that are over five years old going strong and running fast 🙂 If you look after it, it will last longer. doing a clean OS install every couple of years is a good idea to deal with junk and speed up the system.

You would see most collages and school PCs are just as old 😛 remember using systems that are 6 years and all they do is an update from WIndows 7 to 8 then to 10 then to 11 - I do not know how long they keep the systems before replacing them fully

Mine is about 10 years old and still runs great. I did ad a larger power supply, graphics card and ram, but did that after a year of having it. I do run all the anti programs to keep in good health.
