Who has tried Patreon?

What have you used to promote? What is your success? Why did you choose the particular niche?

Myself, I'm doing a drum lesson one, but I'm far from getting any promotion - cause I figure, based on study - it would take $20,000 dollars to grow the Facebook page (where it feeds from). Anyway, I think I can eventually do it, but I want to do it as quickly as possible.

Failed for me, then again I don't really put allot into it so. I find that you always have to give something back or offer them more then what you already have. What#s hard is promoting patreon page

Even a lot of effort - without promotion - won't do much - but promotion cost money usually. In fact, the big players on Patreon all have gigantic social media/You Tube pages - as in many members.
