You've seen them... .Bike .XYZ .Shop .World etc.

Are any of you on board with using these domain names for main community websites?

Because they're so new, you can easily get great name combinations and be creative about it.

I'd love to see what you all are doing with them!

chattingtime.world would be kind of neat, as we are a forum for just about anybody . Not sure I'd be crazy for a .bike domain though

Many individuals and organizations are creatively using the new top-level domains (TLDs) that have been introduced in recent years. These TLDs include things like .art, .blog, .design, .news, .shop, and many others.

For example, artists and art galleries have been using the .art TLD to create unique and memorable web addresses for their online presence. Similarly, bloggers and content creators have been using the .blog TLD to establish their brand and build credibility in their niche.

Businesses and organizations in various industries have also been using new TLDs to better target their audience, such as the .shop TLD for e-commerce sites or the .tech TLD for technology companies.

Overall, the new TLDs offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and organizations to be more creative and memorable with their web addresses.

I remember Elliot Page had Ellen.Page registered years back and I thought that was funny. Unsure if he has Elliot.Page registered now.

I have used xyz. I have sold a lot of sites with xyz domain. I still own a couple of xyz sites. I also owned shop domain but later dropped it.

I've used .wiki for a wiki I was going to host but I got overwhelmed and the project was taken over by another person. :S I was going to be the head admin for Glitch City's revival wiki, but I bit off more than I could chew. I'm just happy someone else was able to take over and get the project up and running.

Was also gonna do similar for the Higurashi wiki on Fandom but just decided overtime not to go through with it.
