Who is your Web Host?

It would be nice to see who most people use to host their sites/forums, also don't mind sharing your thoughts about them . If you would like, you could add who your host before and how your experience was with them.

I've used in the past, 000webhost, FreeHostia, HostHelpers, X10 Hosting Host2x, SiteFrost.

Out of all those, I think from my personal experience Host2x was the best. Their subdomain is also great, 2x.nu it's only 4L/N like most free domains.

I use my own web host now. It offers Free/Post2Host & Paid cPanel web hosting. Host2x is probably still better when compared to HostSage, but not by far. 🙂

So what are your hosting experiences?

I've used speedhost (which I highly regret), Byethost, Zymic, co.cc hosting, and Vistapanel. Out of those, I only liked Zymic, as the control panel was easy to navigate, and their support was fast.

Does Zymic have cPanel? I couldn't find anything related to what type of control panel they have on their site.

Forgot I used ByetHost too, it was a bit horrible, their control panel was VistaPanel, which is not convenient to use at all.

They don't use CPanel, they use a (much easier to navigate) different one, programmed themselves. It's actually quite simple.

The very last host I used before I gave up forum owning was SMF For Free. Otherwise I've used quite a few of them:

The webhost I use to host the other forums on is unlimitedmb.com. It is a good service, but in order for me to have a decent cron on it, I have to install one on there myself, since they don't include crons for anything.

Forum Promotion is hosted on Hawk Host. Their hosting packages are great value and I'm very happy with their service and support.

My business forum is hosted on a VPS from Servint.net. They are very reliable, have great uptime, provide good tech support. However, they are a tad expensive.

I use Servage for my forum, but I want to move to HawkHost when I get a chance. Much better uptime.

I'm using hostgator, and its great. I never expected them to be so good. My website speed is so good, never had downtime, excellent customer support, good price, its all good.
