I've never even heard of every single one of them and, I don't wish to know them either. There's some shady business going on here, and maybe with Tapatalk involved...

Thoughts?

It has always been like that with Zeta giving your info out, its just that with the new privacy laws in place Brandon had no choice but to pout it in the link, this is nothing new, been like it for years, you will find that all hosts free or paid do the same thing, they just have to tell you know that they are doing it now..

Seems that ZetaBoards has gone overboard and added every little details. All sites has to obey the new law so it's not new. But no idea why they added all advertising companies

Well if you collect data on your visitors using third parties it's usually a good idea (with GDPR and all) to inform your visitors about this and link to their privacy policies.

It's all the people you sold your soul to, without even knowing it.

It is a very big list though o.o

I've been using ZB for years and this is only the first time I've had these names in front of me. Call me unawares, yeah.

But are any of them even trustworthy? I guess not. Half of their names gives me a bad vibe :\

He didn't have to list them before, but the new laws stated that he did, and other sites as well, but year most of those names are a little dodgy

Yeah, some certainly give me that impression... especially when they have "Ad" in their names.

I guess we shouldn't worry too much about them, no?

And of the day there are ads and if we not using them then why worrying about it...

Exactly the same thing has been happening for all this time. The difference now is that GDPR enforces that the user be aware of these actions and have the option to opt out.

I know a couple of them. Nothing shady, and not the only culprit, but it's definitely not great if you're not happy with companies profiting from your personal details. You'd be surprised what your MNOs are doing while you use their network.

It happens everywhere, and that's the cold, hard truth of present day. These companies wouldn't be too happy if you were selling on their patents, now, would they?
