Hi everyone.
I am putting an question out on Forum Promotion to see how many people are buying into the whole Windows 8 idea. I have also created a video of Windows 8.1 to see how an IT Professional like myself struggle using it for the first time.

On a personal note, I hate the UI but looks like it seems to run well performance wise on 1GB of Ram when I recorded this video. This no including Internet lag for remote connection.

I love Windows 8 (and 8.1). I think it's a major upgrade from Windows 7 in all honesty.

I love Windows 8 as well. Get's a little getting used too, but overall I really love it. Personally, I find it's new and a good change.

Yeah, I guess it takes a little to get use to it. But find I have to go back and forward to often. I am looking forward to what Windows 9 has to offer.

I am using Windows 7 on my desktop and Windows 8 on my laptop. Both are good operating systems, but if I compare I like Windows 7 more.

I am using win8.1 and honestly, I have never used this Metro start menu thingy, so it doesn't bother me at all. I feel that it is a very useless feature. I just right-click the start menu icon to access different locations.

I use Windows 8.1 on an older computer. It seems to crash not as much and slow down less than Windows 7 and Vista on a computer with an older 1.8 GHz Dualcore CPU,onboard video, and 1 GB of RAM.

I just set 8.1 to boot to the desktop, and pin my most used programs, and apps to the taskbar, and startscreen which makes using 8.1 simpler.

You should just install Classic Shell.

I use Windows 8.1 in both my mobile (Lumia 520) and my laptop (Lenovo G5070). My desktop has Windows 7 though.

I love both of them. And i really like metro. I guess it comes down to personal preferences.

Using windows 7 right now and will be buying it again when I build a new pc.

I didn't like windows 8, I changed over to maverick by buying a Mac book air. And I will never change back.

Windows 8 is good, you just need to get used to it. I switched from Windows 7 to Windows 8, it was also complicated for an IT professional like myself.

I use Windows 8.1 because I got it for free  Windows 9 is looking pretty nice though 😉

I use Windows 7, Windows 8 and OS X Mavericks on my computers.

I use Windows RT 8.1 on my tablet and Windows 8.1 on my (gaming) desktop which did have Windows 7 beforehand I can say 8.1 runs a lot smoother then 7.
