I've decided that I no longer wish to contribute to a site which has loads of no follow links, the basis of a promotion site is to enable you to promote a forum and this site is shite at doing it, so the first person who replies to this thread gets my cash for nothing.

I think you need to find the definition of promotion.
Basically promotion is well promoting. Crazy, I know. Promoting actually doesn't mean gaining backlinks and higher PR. It means you promote and get your forum noticed by other users of the community.
Buying advertising gets you much more exposure to the userbase here and to all new users registering or just visiting.
Services are offers to help improve your website as well as build your content with post packages.
Maybe this will make you understand promotion is promotion, nothing more.

Use directories and topsites. I've told you maybe six times that FP is only here for people to visit sites, and stuff. I doubt it has even a little dot to do with backlinks and the such. Don't like it then you can get out. And you have.
