Yes but he doesn't get a same type bonus so he's overrated. I could just use Crunch and take him out in one hit.

with up to 400+ HP and crush not being super effective I doubt it. lol.

Due to the pokemon wiki it states that only bug and ghost types are super effective against Mew.

I believe it was carried out through all gens; due to the creator including mew 2 weeks before the publishing of the game and wasn't able to finish it fully (which leads to the lack of dark type weakness) the other games reflected this and left out the darkness weakness.
