Why are we here?

Do any of you wonder why we are here?
Why do we go through school? You will probably say to get a job. Why do we get jobs?
We do everything we do because it is what society tells us to do. Animals don't have exchanges or stock markets, fish don't have girlfriends or boyfriends, etc.

I often wonder about all of this and just wonder what is our purpose. When I think about it I realize that we really don't have a purpose. We evolved over time and we are just here. We do everything we do so we can live better lives, but we still don't have a purpose.

We do the things we do because we want something. We could live just eating small meals, sleeping like they did ages ago, not taking showers, etc. We don't need everything, we only need necessities, but even with those it doesn't provide a purpose for why we are here.

I rambled on and it was hard to put this all together, but what do you think when it comes to our purpose, why we do the things we do, and why we are here?

I ask it all the time, but we never find out the answers. So why ask? Some of us are here to save others. Some of us are here only to die by murder/etc. Some of us are here to live until we're 100 - to watch time change, to watch everything advance even further.

We can't predict what will happen to use, nor can we say "I am here for this reason." It's not for you to determine.

An average person's life consists of:

School -> Work -> Retire -> Too old to do anything -> Die.

Simple as that, it's depressing I know but what can we do. So make the most of what you have now.

As Nathan stated, we do sort of a repetitive thing everyday. Go to school/work, come home, eat, sleep and repeat. Our lifes are boring and dull and we do this for around 85 years.

Eh, I'm thinking about being a millionaire when I'm older. Still not completely sure if I want to. I'll be able to retire in my 50's though 🙂

The answer is there is absolutely no reason why we are here however, within our lives their is a purpose for all the things we do. Even for a purpose there is another purpose, but when it finally comes down to it there is no overall purpose.

Heh life does not only consists about school work retiring and die.
It is about what your passion is and turn it into a life dream come true. Honestly after I'm done with school stuff I want to do just about anything I wish I could do. Bungee Jumping, car race or anything that have to do with adrenaline rush..
