why did you start a forum????

I started my forum as a fan forum for Super Smash Flash, an online game based upon Super Smash Bros Brawl for Wii.

No worries, that's what we are here for 🙂

I started a forum to make money >.> Selfish but true, 99% it ends to money!

I started my first forum ever in history out of curiosity, to be honest. I just wanted to know how it feels running my own forum. Then when I found something I really wanted to build a forum on, I did it as part of my hobby and to meet more people like me.

I think it's a fun way to meet more people, get to know them, and make friends. 😀

My first forum was started cause I was tired the way things worked -where done on the forum I was quite active on.

Starting a forum to make money is pretty silly, you would make more working at MacDonalds in $10 an hour if you average out the time you spend working on the site etc.

People make forums usually because they like the whole community side of things, and the sense of achievement when their forum reaches a milestone, or is active etc...well I know I do. Plus the owners usually have a huge interest/knowledge in the forum area.

Back when I started making forums it was as a hobby and based on something that I really enjoy (Futurama, LOST and many more). Ultimately the Futurama forum prevailed and I focused on that.

I started mine many years ago when myself and my co admin were on a forum that had moderators bullying members and they were going around like they were nasty school teachers ..So we both set one up ourselves with a bit of technical help as we were novices ..And its been going ever since but i have moved us to a different forum provider now..We have a forum where no one is bullyied or shouted at or told to abide by strict rules ..Just the normal decency ones...
