Why did you start you forum?

Well, my friends and I wanted a place we could go to talk to ourselves... But, that didn't work out because phpbb2 got all messed up because something came over and messed with our files... ~cry~

But now we're using smf... And nobody really cared to reregister...

I started mine to mainly get my school Linux club up and going...and now I did feel the need to get the forum out to people out of 'school'

I first started mine to make some quick money but now I'm really fond of the community and would never sell it.

There was no other board for fans of the Bonzo Dog band, that I could find anyway. There was board for Neil Innes (one of the bands members, you may remember him as sir Robins Minstrel in "Quest For The Holy Grail") but no board just for the band, it's quite successful now but we always need new active members. It's hard to find them though as it's a limited niche of people who would want to join really.

I made mine because my friend made one and he said it was crap and asked me to make a better one XD so i did and now it's really active 😀

I started mine after a forum we were regulars at was threatening to close. It was more of a backup forum, but then it started to grow and do well on its own.
Our forum is a support forum for those suffering from Lyme Disease and Morgellons.

There are thousands!

I'd say they are probably the most common type of forum there is! Apart from general chat ones.

I would say there are more gaming than anything probably. There are lots of general chat ones but not more than tech,game, music etc.
