Hangoutzone has a a fair amount of members.
Yeah but most of them aren't active or aren't very active and there is still some bots in the memberlist. I will soon relauch it and hopefully get some more members back.

I started mine cause i couldnt find any website that offered the 2 subject's in the one place 😛

I didn't start mine, but I was an admin because of sportspro22 who I knew as a friend at school.

I started mine for a love for Vanessa and wanting to share my passion as well as getting to know other people around the world! There is more than France out there 😀

I was fed up of the lack of help out there for forums, unless you where a Vbull fanatic. So, after years working for one, I made my own 😀

I didnt ever want to start a forum, I just got bored oneday and Never though it would get active .. then i really got into it all and Now look active forums 😀 yay!

I stared mine because a lot of people asked me questions on the pc, so i gathered the info in one place for them

I started mine as I liked the topic I use and know a lot about it

I actually addressed this very issue in my welcome text. There simply weren't any forums that I found that addressed role-playing games as a whole; most concentrate on one specific game or genre.

Additionally, many of the forums I visited had rules and posters I thought I could do without. I'm savvy enough to puzzle out simple code, so I figure, hey, why not?

A week later I'm actually astounded - I had no idea there were so many options nowadays. It's pretty cool.

Now if I could only find widgets that didn't look like cartoons. . .

Okay, take a deep breath...

Once Upon a time, I was a member of a forum. Really successful with over 800 members. They had changing themes, a cash mod, a user gallery (in which users could upload twenty photos), and really really friendly users... Except for that bad seed who turned out to be a Damn administrator. Well, just a administrator. There's a "Super Administrator". But still....
One thread, I came across someone saying something about stereotypes, I forgot how it went to be honest, but I remember my reply which kinda went like: "Stereotypes is reality. It can't be abolished. Wherever you go, prejudice will always be.. blah blah blah... So it's better to accept and welcome the idea, because that way, less people would be touchy about it. Just like how "Shit" used to be a bad word. Because you know, words only hurt you only when you let them.".
Okay, so what I said was kinda flawed to some, but that was my opinion. THen the administrator started flaring at me saying she hated me and embarassed me in front of the entire forums. So, I left. And Created my own forums cuz despite of all it's members, it was a forum in which everyone knew each other.
Yeah... the forums I own were created solely out of vengeance and "I-told-you-so" attitude.

Trust me, my resolve changed two hours later when I decided I wanted it to be a friendly community with plenty of things to discuss.

So.. yeah, and that's how my Forums Came to Be.
