Why do teachers have to be so snooty?

I mean really. I go to call my teacher for help on an assignment and she is all "Well why don't you know this? You should know this already, it was in the lessons." My apologies for not learning, have you not seen my grade?

I swear, I ask for help and suddenly the calvary gets involved. If you don't want to be nice to your students when helping them you really should not be a teacher....

It doesn't help the fact that this class is required for me to pass in order to graduate.


Anyone else have/had teachers they really did not like?

Its happened to me in the past. Its worse if the class is a requirement. I often have felt that it is a case of where teacher dodges a student's questions so they can flunk them even if the student is failing anyway. My mother is a college teacher and she won't answer a failing student's question if she feels it is pointless. However, I don't justify that action.

I think it's because they are "smarter than everyone else" 😛
