So, during the time of COVID, no was shaking anyone's hands. Even in churches, shaking of hands of peace was stopped and it was very understandable. Fast-forward years later with COVID being taken care of, have anything happened which make you rule out completely shaking anyone's hands?

I saw a hand picking his nose in a bus, it was a very disgusting sight for me that very day. After he was done, he didn't use hand sanitizer or anything. He just cleaned his hand on his jeans. At that point, I was done with shaking people's hands. I would rather wave than shake.

Do you still shake hands?

Ewwww

My church still has people terrified of covid and we don't pass the peace anymore, or the offering basket, that's in the narthex.

I hate shaking hands anyway. It's just weird.

I still do it daily. I was in an area in an industry where they never really cared much about COVID, and parts of that kind of rubbed off on me. It's just a nice expression to me.

not all has stopped, I mean I have not

Rarely, which is only when some big wig from upper management comes to my store and wants to see me and all the other workers to show their appreciation. I always hope and assume that someone doing such a visit is going to be considerately hygienic given not only their position but also that if they get a large amount of people in the store sick it'll affect business.

Habits die hard and this habit of not shaking hands started during the pandemic.

Aside from Covid and getting sick with flu, getting wart infections on your hand isn't very fun either. It's the primary reason why I don't like shaking anyone's hand.

I have no qualms about gettng infected by shaking hands. I have done that all the time until the time Covid made its presence
