Why do so many people bother to register on forums and not post?

My forum is open and there is nothing that they can't do other than post if they don't register. So why even bother putting the effort into joining if you aren't going to post anything. ~mad~

Rant over, but it is a pet hate of mine. -😉-

It's going to happen, ALOT! It's not just you. I probaly have about 50 members who joined, and didn't make a single post.

Then there's the 100 or so who joined just to post and ad topid 😀 like that actually helps their forum ~rolleyes~

Yeah, i know how ya feel, it's exciting to see new members; but depressing to see them not even posting.

Every forum has that problem so don't feel bad. It frustrates me as well. Then you have members who just log in but never post.

I have it a little, all you can really do is send newsletters asking them to post and be active.

I try everything to get unactive members to post, I have even given bottles of whisky or Vodka away for competitions we have had on the forum. Costs a bloody fortune to buy it and send it to other countries, but what the heck. -😉-

I have that problem alot and it iritates the hell out of me. I dont understand why you would take the time to register, activate your account and then not bother to even post a hello -bigeyes-
