why does this happen to me

One of my co-admins (ex-co-admin) put a copyright thing on my server.

The person who owns it found it (don't know how) but that's not the point.
Now the person is threatening legal action even after he knows I didn't put it there. and I deleted it totally off the server...

Now what should I do.

With the owner who is threatening legal action??
and the the co-admin???

If it is deleted then nothing should really happen. Just appologise to the owner and try and explain it and promise that it won't happen again. As for the co-admin, make sure he stays as far away as possible.

I said sorry to the owner. but the PM i sent was read then left.

Unless you get an official letter from his attorney then I wouldn't worry about it. He may just be bluffing. Just make sure you made it clear to him that you're very sorry and that it won't happen again. Perhaps posting an apology to him at your forum may help but I'd wait and see if you hear from him again first.

I have spoken to the nice head owner of the site. and he said no legal action will be taken as it has been deleted.
