I noticed that we have a few active users that don't actually have their own sites. Maybe you just don't have a project now but did previously. This is more for people who haven't had a project of their own for a while now. Why don't you have a site? Are you just not interesting in running your site? Or maybe you just don't have any ideas right now?
I have almost a dozen sites, however, only half of them get traffic and generate revenue (very little, though). I started creating websites in 2015. Since my hosting allowed 3 websites, I launched 3 websites in the first year, I upgraded the hosting n the second year and I launched 7 mofre websites. In the third year, I bought unlimited hosting and I launched a few more websites.
I have my personal site, which is usually a portfolio, but I haven't had time to "complete" it since the last version. A portfolio as a designer/dev is necessary when job hunting, which hasn't been the case for me since spring 2017. So right now, it's just a single page with a contact form.
I haven't run my own forum in many years, either. I wasn't suited for it. Instead, I co-admin on a resource site for ProBoards and help others with their forums or projects. Sometimes for pay, sometimes not. And since I'm not interested in writing or maintaining a blog, none of that either.
Honestly, I'm surprised by how many of you have all these side projects going. You must have a lot of energy!
My passion is gardening and I had long wanted to have a forum for local gardeners. The purpose is not just for sharing of gardening know-how but also for the exchange of planting materials. My problem is the cost and also the maintenance since you cannot run a forum without a moderator and an admin. There's also the issue of getting members because right now I have just a few people in my fold as serious weekend farmers.
