Why movie sites change always domain?

Every some months I see sites that change the domain but why they do this?

for example: 123movies, putlocker ( original and clones ) change often the domain name.. .to, .is, .cz, .io, .co an many others.. can someone explain me why this happen?

I'm guessing those sites are thrown off the server so they move somewhere else. Why? Cause they're illegal (copyright violations). I mean, what else could be the reason?

Those sites are basically illegal due to copyright infringement and have to constantly change domain servers so they don't get shut down.
