avoiding nulled products can be hard if you don't have enough money for it but , if you can't afford it than you shouldn't be using it. Using Nulled products results in website shutdown permanently, & some cases lawsuit . For example WHMCS, I know some people might think that it's the best , but their other things that are just like it. most people think you'll never be caught with it but trust me. you may get away from it for sometime , but if your site / hosting company gets big than your gonna get busted. So please do your self a favor and DONT use Nulled products.

I'll be honest, I have used nulled products before. I must say that my site was never slow because of it, despite what people say. Nothing was really corrupted or anything, so getting the nulled products have to come from a trusted source rather than someone who says it's nulled and suddenly you have installed a giant malware app on your server.

I will say that it can cause a lawsuit, sadly. I don't see many lawsuits however. I used my nulled software on test forums and password protected the directories, because I knew they were nulled. I was simply testing the software on my server, and usually most companies don't really care as long as you don't have a giant population on it. I don't normally see companies fall apart over a production server using a nulled version, and then the people buying the software afterwards.

I do not agree that if you cannot afford it, you should not be using it. The software seems cheap to some but considering there are people on unemployment, economies falling apart at the seems, and jobs flying out of the countries to China and Mexico, it's hard to get money to spend. ECSPECIALLY Since you have to renew the software just to get updates; if you buy it you should have it for life with updates and support. And considering IP.Board can be just about 500 bucks for all of their software, that's just antagonizing the use of nulled software.

So no, you should not use nulled software however the only issues I see with it is the legalities of it; unless you live in a country that doesn't have copyright laws. You should not have to spend hundreds on software, $200 for it all sounds fine however overpriced software will just equal in more nulled versions, because then everyone will want it. 😛 It's like saying you cannot do something and then having the voices in your head that tell you to do it even more.

Edit: I also wanted to say if you happen to use something nulled, check the license. I have a few nulled themes for wordpress that are under the GPL, which gives me ability to use it without restrictions so that's a loophole if your into legalities and the law making process.

GPL also waves any lawsuits that you'd have by using them, so. 😛 You'll always have that guilt however. 😛

I had helped out a person by accepting a 'partnership' with them and while promoting the website it was brought to my attention that he was using a nulled product. I had no idea about this and didn't appreciate the fact that it was not disclosed to me - the main administrator had said that it was due to lack of funds but I communicated that he should not be using something he cannot afford. I backed out of the partnership promptly. I don't know whatever happened to him and his project.
